Welcome to the PASS program.

Practical Academic Study Skills starts with the

desire to learn and then teaches you how to

maximize your learning. It does this through a

controlled process that includes everything from

how you read to where you study.

In this series of classes you will learn:

    • note taking techniques
    • reading strategies
    • time management
    • problem solving
    • memorization techniques
    • test taking strategies.
    • how to improve your class participation
    • how to use research facilities

When you have finished this program, your ability

to understand and participate in classroom and

home study will be increased and your confidence

and grades should improve.
